Blanc de Chine
There have been three ancient porcelain kilns in southern China; Jingdezheng in Jiang Xi Province; Liling in Hunan Province and Dehua in Fujiang Province.
Dehua is known for its white porcelain (Blanc de Chine) which can trace back to Tang Dynasty. It flourished in Song  Dynasty, By Yuan Dynasty, there were major exports to Europe and south east Asia. Its color can be bluish white, ivory white to Snow White. Apart from daily functional pottery, artisans take inspiration from wood carving and stone carving, which give Dehua porcelain UNIQUE features!
